I’m Naii Vegas, a Venezuelan interior designer and creative director based in Washington, DC, with a background spanning hospitality, residential design, lifestyle spaces, and experiential interiors.

My approach to design is rooted in how people actually experience a place, how they arrive, move, gather, work, rest, and connect. I believe strong interiors should feel distinctive and emotional, but also intuitive, functional, and built to perform in real life.

Over the years, I’ve worked across hotel environments, restaurants, residential spaces, and multi-layered hospitality projects, developing interiors from early concept and space planning through visualization, FF&E, sourcing, custom furniture, procurement, installation, and final styling. My experience within the hospitality world , including projects and work connected to Selina Hotels across multiple cities, shaped the way I think about guest experience, community, flexibility, and the relationship between design and operations.

Today, through Creative Buildr Studio, I work closely with clients, operators, fabricators, vendors, and contractors to translate creative ideas into environments that can actually be built, maintained, and adapted. I’m equally comfortable developing the visual identity of a space and working through the practical decisions behind it: budgets, sourcing strategies, lead times, material alternatives, furniture packages, and value engineering.
